The World and several Mega Yachts

The apartment ship The World calls itself the biggest private yacht in the world. It is the first cruise ship designed as a private residence – those who live here are used to the very highest standards. This applies not only to the service on board, but also to the design of the various public and private rooms.

As the ship cruises the oceans and only stays two or three days in most harbors, all the work had to be carried out while at sea. This posed an exciting challenge for the entire company – in terms of schedule coordination, transport and logistics, as well as for Messner’s assembly teams.
